Guide to integrate Mailazy with your MODX application

Prerequisites

You need to complete these given prerequisites, you can skip the step if you have already completed.

  1. Sign up for a Mailazy account.
  2. Complete Domain Authentication.
  3. Generate the Mailazy Access Key

Integrate Mailazy with MODX

Configuration in MODX is simpler with Mailazy. MODX supports sending email over SMTP. To have MODX relay email through Mailazy go to System Settings > 'Mail' area and change:

SMTP Authentication - Yes
SMTP Hosts - smtp.mailazy.com
SMTP Password - “mailazy_secret”
SMTP Port - 587
SMTP Connection Prefix - tls
SMTP User - mailazy_apikey
Use SMTP - Yes
