Joomla SMTP Integration Guide

Minimum code that you need to integrate Mailazy with your Joomla application

Prerequisites

You need to complete these given prerequisites, you can skip the step if you have already completed.

  1. Sign up for a Mailazy account.
  2. Complete Domain Authentication.
  3. Generate the Mailazy Access Key

Integrate Mailazy with Joomla

Configuration in Joomla is simpler with Mailazy. Joomla supports sending email over SMTP. To have Joomla relay email through Mailazy go to Site > Global Configuration and change:

Mailer – SMTP
SMTP Host - smtp.mailazy.com
SMTP Port – 587
SMTP Security – STARTTLS
SMTP Authentication - Yes
SMTP User - "mailazy_apikey"
SMTP Pass - "mailazy_secret"
